We shoot on Wednesday evenings from the first week of February through to the last week of November, at 90R Wellington St, Howick (Domain), Auckland.
Doors open at 6:30pm, practice/sighting starts promptly and finishes before 7:30 so that we can continue with the proper shoot.
Manukau Sporting Rifle Club’s standard target is a 4 position shoot, prone, kneeling, sitting and standing snap shot.
We welcome novice shooters. Please arrive promptly by 6:30pm to sign in and attend a safety briefing prior to a prone supervised practice shoot. **PLEASE BRING A COPY OF THE NEW SHOOTER INFO DOC.**
This process helps familiarise the person with the safe operation of the rifle, understand the range rules, and have a safe and enjoyable experience.
The Range is closed for maintenance during December and January.
